Business Cards Final

These are the final promotional business cards which have gone to print for Firebolt Hosting and Leicestershire Web Designs. The logo for LWD has changed to incorporate the 'CMY' colours on a 'K' background but retains the striped background and Firebolt has been produced on plain black for maximum contrast.

NE-Design have been mentioned as a 'source of inspiration' on a design blog. We have been unable to get in touch with the owner of the blog so we aren't sure what has inspired them to put us on their blog but we are grateful anyway. You can see the blog at http://theganger.tumblr.com/

Jing Project

We have recently started using the image sharing service called Jing. The application allows you to capture video and images at any size or resolution and then paste them as URL's onto www.screencast.com or you can save them to your computer. It is a very quick and easy way of showing work to clients and getting work signed off before it goes to print or online. You can download this program at www.jingproject.com

Firebolt Hosting Logo

According to the guidelines we have been given by the customer for the logo we have come up with this design. Using the colours to represent the fire along with a vector flame and italicised lettering to show speed. This now has to be tried upon stationery and web applications but will have a similar look to what you see here when it is finalised.

Firebolt Hosting - New Client

We have just received some work for the branding and stationery of a new web hosting company called Firebolt Hosting. The company provides solutions for all types of hosting for e-mail, websites and other applications. We will attempt to reflect the speed and superiority of the brand compared to other similar businesses. This business will be taking over the services of our partners DreamCreators. All existing customers will be unaffected and from now on all of NE-Design's web hosting will be going through Firebolt. More information can be found at www.dreamcreators.co.uk

Spider E-mail

Today I had this e-mail sent to me with the message : Amazing!

Poke and prod the spider with your mouse, also 'grab' one of its legs with your mouse and drag it around the screen. Tell me it's not alive!

Also, anywhere on the map put the cursor and then hit the space bar and it leaves little bugs. Watch the spider go after them and when she catches them they disappear; this is totally crazy and creepy too!

It really does work and shows very impressive computer technology which could potentially be used in other viral advertising.

NE-Design Website Changes

We have recently made some changes to our website. There is now an ideas link which includes personal projects and potential ideas within design and advertising. The other link is our blog which you are on now. This will update you on anything new that's happening at NE-Design.

Aswell as this we have a new contact form script making it easier to get in touch than before. The portfolio has been updated also with new work including pictures of the '1000 words' photography exhibition which was a big success. We hope you enjoy looking through the site and if you have any feedback, good or bad, we would like to hear from you.

Business Relocation and New Identity

One of our clients has recently relocated to Leicestershire from the Manchester area and has, in turn, decided to create a new identity related to the new area. The new name is Leicestershire Web Designs. The idea of the logo works around sites being built up with blocks and also reference old computer games aswell as pixels. The flyer design above also echoes this idea. We will be collaborating with LWD on numerous Web projects in the near future and are currently in the process of designing their stationery and website.

DWhyatt Signwriting

We are about to go live with a new website design for DWhyatt Signwriting. We have opted to go with a traditional style mated with modern web standards which reflects the services that the company provide. We have used the company before for van vinyl application and their service was excellent. We will be collaborating on certain projects in the future hopefully.
